Practical stock trading training is essential to achieve good results in your trades on equity markets. There are several ways to learn how to trade stocks practically. Theory can be found in many stock market books or on educational websites but you also need to learn practical trading skills.
But how to learn some practical skills ? How to participate in some practical stock trading training ? The one really quite cheap option is to subscribe to some good stock trading newsletters.
What can your learn about stock trading and investing?
There are generally two types of market newsletters for traders and investors. One group are publications providing individual opinions about micro and macro economic situation in countries, regions and sectors. They also include recommendations on what sectors or regions are more attractive in current situation than others.
The second group of training newsletters are materials with concrete stock or ETF picks. Best newsletters from this group provide very useful information, as there is detailed descriptions of ideas behind all picks and recommendations. I like to read what the author thinks about each of his picks.
Check carefully every source before selection
These training materials could be written by companies, a group of traders or individuals. I like personal newsletters written by a concrete person as the best source of training and education. I do a little research on such person, and then I read some of his previous newsletters or articles. And if I like what I see, I subscribe to his newsletter.
Paid of free versions?
There are paid and free training newsletters. Well here I must admit that the most valuable newsletters I ever read were paid newsletters. They are sources of personal stock trading training and investing education you should read. Most writers of worthwhile paid newsletters provide some version of free newsletter – maybe in less frequency or with less info published. I personally could publish my free newsletter only every two weeks. And I know that it is still an usable source of education for traders and investors.
Best training publications and publishers also offer free trial periods for testing purposes. And finally most newsletters provide monthly or quarterly payments so it is easy to cancel subscription if you find newsletter unusable or obsolete for you.
Training newsletters published by real stock traders could help you in several aspects. Trade management and technical stock chart time frame analysis are two stock trading terms that are often well described in these materials. It is good to use this source of good stock trading education for improvement of your own trades.
